Shin Yu Releases Heartfelt New Single 'Love Story' Featuring Park Ae-ri

Singer Shin Yu is set to touch hearts this fall with his poignant new single.

On the 12th at 6 PM, Shin Yu will release his new digital single 'Love Story (feat. Park Ae-ri)'.

'Love Story (feat. Park Ae-ri)' is a groundbreaking crossover of traditional Korean music, Gugak, and Trot, with Shin Yu contributing to both the lyrics and composition to enhance its quality.

The song 'Love Story' draws inspiration from the true story of Won-i's mother from the Joseon Dynasty, depicting the sorrowful process of parting with her husband. The lyrics, enriched with pure Korean language, amplify the poignant and sorrowful emotions, as seen in lines like "Gashiri gashiri itgo nareul dugo gashiri itgo / Gachi salda gachi gajadeoni eojji geuri seodulleo gao," which are reminiscent of the Goryeo song 'Gashiri'.

Shin Yu, embarking on his first activity with a self-composed song, is expected to evoke tears from listeners with his deep and mournful voice, befitting his title as the 'Prince of Trot', as he sings of Won-i's mother's love.

Meanwhile, Shin Yu's new digital single 'Love Story (feat. Park Ae-ri)' will be available for streaming on various online music platforms from 6 PM on the 12th.
