BOYNEXTDOOR's new pre-release track 'Parental Advisory' is drawing attention with its fresh concept and 'life-like lyrics' written by the members themselves. The group stimulates listeners' empathy with realistic stories drawn from their own experiences, vividly showcasing their interpretation of youth.

BOYNEXTDOOR has been actively involved in the production of their songs since their debut album. The pre-release track 'Parental Advisory' is imbued with the members' touch in its title, theme, and lyrics. After deciding on the theme, they shared stories of actions they couldn't tell their parents about and turned these into lyrics. Chief producers ZICO, Pop Time, and Kako helped bring out the members' unique colors naturally in the music.

The lyrics of 'Parental Advisory' are based on experiences that anyone might have had at least once. The opening lines, "Please grow up healthy, son / They said that's all that matters when you're young / Grandma told me / Your dad was no different when he was young," evoke laughter with a story that a grandmother might actually tell her grandson. The members also candidly sing about telling their parents they're almost home while actually goofing off, and about counting the patterns on the floor instead of listening to their mom's scolding when they were young. BOYNEXTDOOR sings about everyday life in a way that resonates with their peers and brings nostalgia to older generations.

Innovative ideas also shine through. The track includes actual family voices to add a sense of realism. The line "Brother, mom is really mad" is voiced by a member's sibling, enhancing the song's immersion with the realism of a secret phone call. KOZ Entertainment explained, "It's not common for family members to participate in music, but the members thought it would be a fun element that fits the theme of the song, and the writers agreed, leading to the recording."

'BOYNEXTDOOR's Youth' thus features a unique blend of everyday experiences and creative ideas. BOYNEXTDOOR will release their new album '19.99' on the 9th.
