LE SSERAFIM's Hong Eun-chae Apologizes for Past Remarks During Fan Interaction
LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) member Hong Eun-chae has issued an apology regarding her past remarks during a fan interaction.
On the afternoon of the 29th, LE SSERAFIM held a showcase at YES24 in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their mini 4th album 'CRAZY'.
During the event, Hong Eun-chae addressed the controversy surrounding her past comments to a high school senior fan, stating, "I thought it was a casual conversation with fans, but I realize now that I should have been more careful. I apologize for any disappointment caused by my immature words. I will strive to be more cautious and responsible in the future."
Previously, Hong Eun-chae had commented to a high school senior fan who mentioned the difficulties of school life, saying, "You go to school, right? It must be tough." This remark was interpreted as mocking, leading to the controversy.
Regarding their new song, LE SSERAFIM said, "We expressed the emotions of meeting someone who drives us crazy. The music is trendy, and the lyrics are unique and fun. We are confident that the song will stick in your head." They added, "It feels like a 100,000-volt electric shock—thrilling and innovative. It was a fun and refreshing experience."
On their performance, LE SSERAFIM shared, "This time, we challenged ourselves with voguing dance. It has a cool and restrained feel. Trying it ourselves, we realized it requires immense core strength. This challenge will truly be a challenge; it's hard to succeed in one go," they said, eliciting laughter. The new LE SSERAFIM album features a variety of genres, including hip-hop, techno, and EDM-based tracks, expanding their musical spectrum. The theme is "Let's go crazy with LE SSERAFIM."
The title track 'CRAZY' is an EDM-based house genre song with a simple yet sophisticated beat and repetitive lyrics 'Da da da da', aiming for addictiveness.
Additionally, the track 'Pierrot' samples Kim Wan-sun's 'The Pierrot Laughs at Us', garnering high interest even before its release. The album includes a total of five tracks, such as '1-800-hot-n-fun' with its intense guitar riffs and hip-hop sound, and 'The Reason I Can't Go Crazy', mainly produced by Huh Yun-jin.
LE SSERAFIM's mini 4th album 'CRAZY' will be released on the 30th at 1 PM.
