On the 17th, the 'BLOOM in MALAYSIA' concert held at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was a resounding success, with tickets selling out immediately upon release, reaffirming D.O.'s immense ticket power.
Notably, this fan concert marked D.O.'s return to Malaysia after approximately six years. The event was held at the same venue where EXO's fourth solo concert, 'EXO PLANET #4 - The EℓyXiOn,' took place in 2018, adding special significance to the occasion.
D.O. kicked off the fan concert with a spectacular performance of 'Mars,' followed by a greeting in the local language, which sent fans into a frenzy.
During the concert, D.O. shared various stories that had never been revealed before, including his growth since debut, experiences with Malaysian cuisine, and more, further elevating the atmosphere.
Additionally, D.O. performed tracks from his mini-album released in May, such as 'Simple Joys,' 'Good Night,' 'My Dear,' and 'About Time,' along with fan favorites like 'That's okay,' 'I Do,' and 'Somebody,' keeping the audience enthralled.
The audience responded enthusiastically, filling the venue with cheers and following along with fan chants, creating a lively and interactive experience.
Towards the end of the concert, local fans chanted for an encore so passionately that the venue seemed to shake. D.O. returned to the stage to perform 'Popcorn,' reciprocating the fans' energy.
Fans also organized a video event showcasing reasons why they love D.O., and a group sing-along of 'My Love,' deeply moving the artist.
