'Reverse driving → drunk driving' Han Dong-geun breaks up with Rhymer
On the 1st, Brand New Music said, "We would like to inform you that the exclusive contract with our artist Han Dong-geun has ended. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Han Dong-geun for trusting and being with us all this time. Han Dong-geun has been working under an exclusive contract since 2019 due to his relationship with Brand New Music CEO Rhymer, who produced hit songs such as 'I'm Trying to Rewrite the End of This Novel' and 'The Luxury of You'.
Meanwhile, Han Dong-geun won season 3 of MBC's competition program 'Star Audition, Great Birth' in 2012, and officially debuted in the music industry with the digital single 'I'm Trying to Rewrite the End of This Novel' in 2014.
However, Han Dong-geun self-reflected amid criticism after it became known that he had been caught by the police for drunk driving in 2018. He announced his return the following year, but the public's response was cold. He also appeared as singer number 30 in the 2021 JTBC competition program 'Singer Gain 2'. He also announced the news of his marriage to his lover in May last year.
