JYP Entertainment Launches '2026 JYP Boy Group Global Audition: The HEAT'

JYP Entertainment is on the hunt for the next big K-pop sensation with the launch of their global boy group audition.

On March 26, JYP opened its official audition website, announcing the '2026 JYP BOY GROUP GLOBAL AUDITION: The HEAT'. The name 'The HEAT' signifies both the intense 'heat' of passion and the 'hit' potential of the upcoming boy group, promising to continue the K-pop wave.

The audition is open to males born between 2008 and 2016. It will take place in eight locations: Osaka on April 18, New York and Bangkok on April 25, California on May 2, Tokyo on May 9, Sydney on May 16, Melbourne on May 23, and Seoul on May 31. Online applications for each location close at 11:59 PM, three days before the respective audition date. The final deadline for all applications is 11:59 PM on May 28, three days before the Seoul audition.

Ahead of the auditions, JYP released intriguing posters and videos featuring dancing ingredients and surreal elements, capturing attention with their creativity. The content hints at JYP's ambition to introduce a groundbreaking boy group. The video also features the upbeat voice of JYP's head producer, J.Y. Park, adding a sense of excitement and humor to the global audition announcement.
