BTS J-Hope, special album and documentary on ‘street dance’ to be released in March

BTS J-Hope's special album 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1' will be released on March 29th at 1pm. In addition, a documentary series related to this will be released sequentially starting the day before the album's release.

According to Big Hit Music on the 19th, 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1' is an album based on street dance, J-Hope's artistic roots. A total of 6 songs are included, and you can see the further development of solo artist J-Hope's capabilities.

J-Hope organically planned this special album and the documentary series of the same name from the beginning. By simultaneously producing music and video that share the same subject matter, ‘dance,’ they express the message they want to convey in a more three-dimensional way. To this end, before enlisting in the military, he visited Osaka, Japan, Paris, France, New York, USA, and Seoul and Gwangju, Korea, and had meaningful time communicating through dance with dancers of various genres active there.

The documentary 'HOPE ON THE STREET', which consists of a total of 6 episodes, will be broadcast for the first time at midnight on March 28th, and new episodes will be released every Thursday and Friday. Domestic users can watch it on TVING, an online video service (OTT), and can watch it in 240 countries/regions around the world through Prime Video, an American online video service.

To celebrate his birthday on the 18th, J-Hope posted a video titled "HOPE ON THE STREET' COMING SOON" on BTS' official SNS, announcing a new project. Accordingly, fans around the world are curious about what kind of content he will show. He showed interest and expressed anticipation.
