Singer Jukjae Stands Firm Against Online Criticism Following Marriage Announcement

Recently, a netizen, referred to as A, commented on Jukjae's social media post, saying, "It's really disappointing. A married singer-songwriter." Jukjae responded, "You're more disappointing." The netizen continued to mock him, saying, "It's really disappointing. A married man," to which Jukjae expressed his displeasure with a gesture implying a finger insult.
The provocation persisted. A commented, "We'll see how a married singer-songwriter turns out," and Jukjae retorted, "Live your own life well. Stop doing this with a private account." When A said, "People are going crazy criticizing you. You should know, since you're about to be a married man," Jukjae replied, "What can I do? If they dislike me, let them. I think I'm better than people like you who come to others' Instagram to harass them."
The netizen sarcastically added, "That's your opinion, but people like you who don't consider fans should know. Remember that turned-away fans can be scary, and live well as a married man," to which Jukjae concluded, "Thanks. I will live well."
Following the controversy, fans have shown mixed reactions. Some fans supported Jukjae, saying, "I don't understand why Jukjae's marriage is being criticized," and "I look forward to his stable music after marriage." Others expressed emotional empathy, saying, "Seeing 'husband memes' somehow feels bittersweet."

Jukjae is a singer-songwriter known for his guitar sessions with famous artists like Lee So-ra, Kim Dong-ryul, and IU. He gained popularity with songs like "Let's Go See the Stars" and "Will You Walk With Me," and since 2020, he has focused on his career as a singer, stepping away from session work.
