Rock singer Jeong Seon-yeon passed away on the 28th due to chronic illness
According to Wannabe Entertainment, Jeong Seon-yeon passed away from a chronic illness in the intensive care unit at Hanyang University Hospital in Guri on the 28th.
Jeong Seon-yeon, who debuted with the rock band Sagye in 1990, formed the band Downtown with Next's guitarist Kim Se-hwang in 1991. Afterwards, she turned to solo and sang theme songs for dramas such as ‘Mother is My Daughter-in-Law’, ‘Loneliness’, and ‘Bird That Doesn’t Cry’.
The funeral was held at the funeral hall of Guri Yunseo Hospital, and the funeral took place at 7:40 a.m. on the 31st.
