2AM's Im Seulong Returns with Solo Album 'Rainbow Light' After 8 Years

2AM member Im Seulong is making a comeback to the solo stage after eight years.

On the 15th at 6 PM, Im Seulong will release his mini-album 'Rainbow Light' on various music streaming platforms.

This album marks his first solo release since the digital single 'Your Sea' in 2017, which was released before his military enlistment. The album captures a poignant emotion through the imagery of rain and rainbows, featuring four tracks that showcase Im Seulong's signature soft vocals in different styles.

The title track 'Rainbow Light' combines an addictive bass line with a repetitive melody, embodying the excitement and nostalgia of love, much like a rainbow appearing after the rain. The second track, 'Mist,' is a cinematic pop song with piano melodies and grand string orchestration. Im Seulong participated in writing the lyrics, conveying the quiet and profound emotions of a farewell.

The modern rock track 'Image' was specially written and composed by fellow 2AM member Jeong Jinwoon for Im Seulong's solo album. It expresses the complex emotions of love through a striking contrast between intense guitar and delicate piano sounds. The final track, 'Rainbow Light (English Ver.),' offers a different charm for global fans.

Im Seulong has consistently expanded his musical spectrum through 2AM activities, various collaborations, and OST projects. This solo album is a culmination of his experiences and reflections, promising to showcase a different side of Im Seulong distinct from his group activities.
