BTS Jungkook's 'Standing Next to You' stays in UK's Official Singles Top 100 for 11 weeks

BTS Jungkook has been listed in the UK's Official Singles Top 100 for 11 weeks.

According to the UK Official Charts released on the 27th (Korean time), the title song 'Standing Next to You' from BTS Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' was ranked 87th in the Top 100 Singles. This song entered the singles top 100 list as of November 10 last year at number 6 and stayed on the charts for over two months.

'Standing Next to You' is a modern reinterpretation of the old school sound of the disco funk genre, and the combination of rich wind instruments, explosive percussion, and Jungkook's powerful singing skills radiates explosive energy. A song that promises, ‘Because our love is deeper than anything else, I will be with you no matter what adversity comes.’

Except for the title song, all of BTS' albums are consistently loved. 'GOLDEN' ranked 10th on the latest Weekly Top Album Global Chart (counting period January 19-25) released by Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, on the 26th. BTS' albums 'Proof' and 'LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'' ranked 36th and 164th, a rebound from the previous week.

Jungkook's solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' ranked 22nd, 'Standing Next to You' ranked 32nd, solo single '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' ranked 86th, and a song from V's first solo album 'Layover' ranked 80th. 'Love Me Again' and the title song 'Like Crazy' from Jimin's first solo album 'FACE' were ranked 91st. Additionally, Jimin's 'Like Crazy' has been on the charts for 44 weeks since the song was released on March 24, 2023.
