BTS Jimin surprisingly re-entered the US Billboard main album chart
According to the latest chart (as of January 27) released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on the 23rd (Korean time), Jimin's first solo album 'FACE', released in March of last year, ranked 59th on the main album chart 'Billboard 200'. Re-entered.
It is interpreted that 'FACE's LP, which began sequentially released by country/region in December of last year, played a large role in this reversal. The sales volume of LP, which began shipping in the United States in mid-January of this year, appears to have been reflected in the performance of 'FACE'.
'FACE' also entered second place on 'Vinyl Album', tying the record for the highest ranking by a K-pop solo artist, equivalent to RM's solo album 'Indigo'. 'FACE' also rose to #1 on 'World Albums' and re-entered 'Top Album Sales' and 'Top Current Albums' at #4 respectively.
Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' remains popular. 'GOLDEN' ranked 44th on the 'Billboard 200', and the album's title song 'Standing Next to You' ranked 87th on the main song chart 'Hot 100'. With this, Jungkook was on both charts for 11 consecutive weeks.
Additionally, 'GOLDEN' ranked 10th in 'Top Current Albums' and 12th in 'Top Album Sales'. 'Global 200' included 'Standing Next to You' (23rd), solo singles 'Seven (feat. Latto)' (25th) and '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' (68th), and 'Global 200' (Excluding the U.S.)', 'Seven', 'Standing Next to You', and '3D' ranked 11th, 14th, and 43rd, respectively.
Meanwhile, 'Standing Next to You' recently surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.
