EXO's 'First Snow' tops music charts 10 years after release

EXO's winter song 'First Snow' once again climbed to the top of the music charts for the first time in 10 years.

As of December 19, 2023, 10 years after its release in December 2013, EXO's 'First Snow' not only ranked 1st in Melon's TOP 100 and daily charts, but also ranked 1st on Bugs' real-time chart, 2nd on Flo, and 6th on Genie. It rose to the top of major music charts.

In particular, 'First Snow' has established itself as a 'must-have winter song' that comes to mind every year when the first snow falls, with its unique vague and cozy atmosphere. This year, the so-called 'First Snow Challenge' has even appeared, with simple movements added to the fast-playing chorus. As it gains popularity mainly through short-form platforms, it is also making a 'reverse run' on the music charts with a frightening momentum.
