Red Velvet's Wendy Tops Poll as Most Desired Summer Watermelon Punch Companion

Red Velvet's Wendy has been voted as the female singer most people want to enjoy watermelon punch with during the hot summer.

From August 11 to 17, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which female singer would you like to enjoy watermelon punch with in the hot summer?'

Wendy claimed the top spot. She is set to release a new solo album next month, marking her first release under her new agency, Ascend, after leaving SM Entertainment in April. This upcoming album will be her first in approximately 18 months.

Additionally, Wendy is preparing for her '2025 WENDY 1st WORLD TOUR 'W:EALIVE',' with the first performances scheduled for September 20 and 21 at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul.

In second place is Girls' Generation's Yoona. She is currently expanding her acting career with the film 'The Devil Has Moved In,' released on August 13, and the upcoming tvN drama 'The Tyrant's Chef,' premiering on August 23. In 'The Devil Has Moved In,' Yoona plays Jung Sun-ji, a bakery owner by day and a devil by night. In 'The Tyrant's Chef,' she portrays Yoon Ji-young, a French chef who time-slips to the past. The drama is a survival fantasy romantic comedy about a chef from the future meeting a king with an extraordinary palate.

Third place goes to Girls' Generation's Yuri. She recently graced the runway at the '2025 Hanbok Shop' opening ceremony on August 7, showcasing her elegant charm alongside actor Jung Il-woo. Yuri has also been actively promoting Jeju Island as an ambassador since June, sharing her experiences on social media.

Currently, the Top Ten TenAsia website is hosting polls on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to enjoy nature with at the end of summer?' and similar themes for female singers and trot singers.
