Kiss of Life reveals New Year's goal, "Singing at Coachella is on our bucket list"
KISS OF LIFE, who appeared on Arirang Radio's 'K-POPPIN'' broadcast on the afternoon of the 11th, first spoke about winning the Global Icon Award at the recent MMA 2023 (Melon Music Awards).
Haneul expressed her overwhelming feelings, saying, "We received an award that day and performed a congratulatory performance, but since it was our first time standing on such a large stage, we gave up our expectations and went with a joyful attitude, and I think we received a good award."
Also, regarding the mega crew performance with dancers at the awards ceremony celebration stage, Natty said, "It was my first time on stage at a big awards ceremony, and because I was performing on stage with so many dancers, it was difficult to move around and use the lift, so I think I got lost for a while in rehearsal. In fact, “Because the lift didn’t come up on time, we came up later than scheduled and took big steps to get into the stage formation and had a lot of new experiences,” he said, introducing the behind-the-scenes story of preparing for the celebration stage.
Regarding the music video shooting, Julie said, "This time, the scene we practiced the most and filmed the most was the mega crew performance with the dancers. During our debut album, we filmed in Hungary, but this time we filmed in the Han River, but on this day, unexpectedly, “It was difficult because it rained so much and the cold weather was difficult, but I remember it was also difficult because it was extremely slippery,” he said.
In addition, KISS OF LIFE, which attracted attention as an emerging 'challenge restaurant' through challenges with various artists such as (G)I-DLE's Miyeon, Zero Base One, Aespa, Stray Kids, Jay Park, and Red Velvet's Joy, has Jay Park as its impersonator. He was chosen as a memorable opponent.
The members said, "I taught the choreography to senior Jay Park, and he memorized it in one go. We started filming right away, and he did the challenge so perfectly and beautifully that I thought it was really cool."
KISS OF LIFE, who selected solo concerts, album charts, and music broadcasts as their bucket list ahead of next year's activities, said, "We will definitely go to Coachella, the stage where top singers such as Beyonce and Blackpink perform. “I want to climb,” he said, revealing his early New Year’s goal.
