SF9's Rowoon and Chani make a comeback with 'Puzzle' with added 'masculine beauty'

Group SF9 (Roun, Zuho, Yoo Taeyang, Hwiyoung, Chani, Dawon, Jaeyoon) made a comeback with a masculine charm.

SF9 held a showcase commemorating the release of their 12th mini album 'THE PIECE OF9' at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul at 4pm on the 9th.

This new album is an album that collects scattered pieces like a puzzle and takes steps toward becoming a complete SF9. SF9 members, who play the role of mysterious agents, will show a mysterious atmosphere and restrained maturity.

Additionally, the title song 'Puzzle' of this album received attention due to the members' high level of participation. Members Zuho and Hwiyoung participated in writing the lyrics, and Juho also added his name to the composition, raising expectations.

'Puzzle' is an impressive song with lyrics that compare the story of finding an ending to a puzzle and an addictive hook melody. The sophisticated choreography that seems to complete a puzzle is also a highlight of this new song. In addition, 'Love Color' and 'Fighter', in which Zuho and Hwiyoung participated in writing the lyrics, 'New World' in which Zuho, Hwiyoung, and Chani participated in writing the lyrics, and 'Tight', in which Zuho participated in writing the lyrics. An album was born.

In particular, the last song includes Jaeyoon's first self-composed song, 'Stay With Me', showing SF9's musical growth.

On this day, Rowoon said, "It's been a long time since I came back. As I'm back with SF9, I'm nervous at the thought of performing in front of the fans." Chanhee also said, “Through this new album, we have returned with a concept that can be best digested. We ask for your interest.”

SF9 mentioned what they wanted to hear through this activity. First, Chanhee said, “I want to hear people say, ‘SF9 is the best.’ I may not have heard it, but I really want to hear it.”

Jaeyoon also said, “I want to hear the words, ‘SF9 tore it up.’ It means that SF9, who made a comeback, tore up the stage.” Rowoon then added, "It's nice to say that it tears apart, but it's better to say that the concept matches well. I think it would feel good to say that it matches well with both the mischievous concept and the agent concept."

This new album attracted attention as SF9 members participated in song production. Regarding this, Jooho said, "I wanted to break away from the existing image and create it one by one. I suggested it to the company, and they asked us to do it together, and the members also liked it."

There was also support from members Inseong and Youngbin, who are currently serving in the military. Jooho announced, "Youngbin's brother, who was on vacation, came to visit us at the filming site of our new music video. That day happened to be Youngbin's birthday, so we threw him a surprise party."

Jaeyoon also said, "Inseong hyung complimented me after watching my choreography and singing videos. It seemed like he wanted to work with me. I hope he comes back soon after completing his military service."

Meanwhile, SF9's 12th mini album 'The Piece of 9' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM today (9th).
