Singer Young Tak won the Trot Award trophy at the Seoul Music Awards.

On the 19th, Young Tak attended the '32nd Seoul Music Awards' awards ceremony held at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park and expressed his emotional feelings by winning the 'Trot Award'.

The 'Seoul Music Awards' is an awards ceremony that boasts the highest authority and tradition in Korea. At the 32nd awards ceremony held on the 19th, Kim Il-joong, Lee Mi-joo, and Choi Min-ho served as MCs, and including Young Tak, IVE, Melomance, Artists of various genres, including NCT DREAM, ZICO, Younha, KARA, Kang Daniel, Coca & Butter, Lapilus, TNX, and Kepler, came out to decorate the rich scene.

Yeongtak, who confirmed winning the ‘Trot Award’ on this day, opened his mouth and said, “First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Seogadae staff and fans who allowed me to stand in this precious position.”

He continued, “I’m a village guy from Andong. “It’s been about 19 years since I moved to Seoul, and there were many times when I wanted to give up because I was just pursuing music,” he said, adding, “I was able to endure without giving up because I had really talented colleagues around me.” Young Tak said, “I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to my family, my people, and the many fans who always support me. “I hope you have a happy new year and always be filled with smiles,” he said, concluding his remarks by expressing his gratitude to his family and fans.

The special stage presented by Young Tak also caught attention. Young Tak's songs include 'Jjiniya', 'Why Are You Out There', and 'Like a Gentleman'. He drew enthusiastic responses from fans by performing remixes of his three hit songs, and presented a passionate and lively stage, bringing pleasant energy to the entire concert hall.

Attention is being paid to Young Tak, who proved his status as a trot singer by winning the 'Trot Award' in the new year of 2023, and what activities he will continue to engage with fans through in the future.
