TWICE selected as winner of ‘Billboard Women in Music’ Awards

According to an announcement on the US Billboard's official website on January 30 (hereinafter local time), Twice will be selected as a 'Breakthrough Artist' at the 'Billboard Women in Music' Awards to be held at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, USA on March 1. '(Breakthrough Artist) category.
'Billboard Women in Music' is a large-scale awards ceremony hosted by Billboard that awards the best female artists, creators, producers and executives who have had the greatest impact on the music industry throughout the year. With this award, Twice not only continues the honors of previous winners in the category, Idina Menzel, Tori Kelly, Maren Morris, and Camila Cabello, but also ranks among K-pop female artists. He became the first winner and re-proved his worldwide influence.
Additionally, Twice recently set a new record on the global music streaming platform Spotify. Twice, who first entered the Spotify Daily Top Artist US chart on November 12, 2021, entered the chart as of the 23rd of this month and achieved 96 days on the cumulative chart. This is a new record for the longest period of time ranked on the chart among K-pop girl groups. Then, it was still ranked on the chart on January 25th, extending this record to a total of 98 days and breaking the record.
Twice released the pre-released English single 'MOONLIGHT SUNRISE' on January 20th and is gaining global momentum. The new song topped the global chart on Spotify's Top Songs Debut Chart (01.20-01.22), as well as ranked 2nd in the US chart and 7th in the UK chart. As of the 20th, it entered the Spotify Daily Top Songs US chart at number 39, hitting a career high, and also ranked 60th on the global chart. Thanks to the enthusiastic support, a total of three remix versions of 'MOONLIGHT SUNRISE', 'House Remix', 'Club Remix', and 'R&B Remix' were released on the 25th, increasing the satisfaction of fans around the world.
Meanwhile, Twice, which has been accumulating significant achievements since the beginning of 2023, will release a new mini album in March and continue its upward trend in global popularity.
