Singer Baekga explained the background of creating a solo album.

Baekga held a music appreciation event commemorating the release of its first EP album 'CURE' at Cine City, Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 11 am on the 20th.

On this day, Byeok-ga said, "I majored in photography. For my studies, I traveled to many places and took pictures since my 20s. My emotions and sensibilities are contained in the photos. I wanted to turn those parts into music."

He continued, "I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2010. I went through a difficult time, and miraculously came back to life. At that time, I began to feel grateful for life."

Baekga said, "After the brain tumor surgery, I had a lot of difficult times and was hurt a lot. I thought I didn't want other people to go through that kind of hurt. This is an album that contains that feeling. That's why I chose the album's title as 'Healing'."
