STAYC releases second single album 'Teddy Bear' in April

On the 23rd, the agency High Up Entertainment announced, “StayC (Sumin, Si-eun, Aisa, Se-eun, Yoon, Jae-i) will release their second single album ‘Teddy Bear’ in Japan on April 5.” .
This comeback comes about 5 months after the Japanese debut single 'Poppy' released in November last year. StayC, who received a lot of attention in Japan at the time, including selling out tickets to the debut showcase and decorating the main electronic display board of Tower Records, continued the excitement of local fans by announcing the news of their comeback early.
This album includes the Japanese version of 'Teddy Bear', which was released in Korea on the 14th and is currently receiving great love, and 'Stereotype', the Japanese version of 'STEREOTYPE', the title song of STAYC's first mini album. A total of two songs are included.
Additionally, to celebrate StayC's comeback, they held a comeback showcase in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
'Teddy Bear' is a pop punk song armed with STAYC's unique refreshing energy, and contains a positive message that gives hope and comfort, like a reliable teddy bear that becomes my own hero. In addition to STAYC's unique kitschy and lovely charm, the highly addictive point choreography 'Bear Dance' continues to be a hot topic.
In particular, 'Teddy Bear' has been steadily rising in ranking since entering Melon's TOP 100 immediately after its release, and the music video is proving its popularity by quickly surpassing 30 million views after reaching 10 million views in just one day. The album's initial sales (counted from February 14th to February 20th) recorded 341,047 copies, a number that far exceeds that of the previous work, achieving a career high and showing impressive progress.
Meanwhile, STAYC's second Japanese single album 'Teddy Bear' will be released on April 5. StayC is expected to captivate not only Korea but also Japan with 'Teddy Bear', a unique team color.
