NewJeans charted on the US ‘Billboard 200’ for 10 consecutive weeks
NewJeans continued their record-breaking streak by appearing on the US Billboard 200 for 10 consecutive weeks with their 2nd mini album 'Get Up'.

According to the latest US Billboard chart (as of October 7) released on the 3rd (local time), 'Get Up' by New Genes (Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) ranked 60th on the main album chart 'Billboard 200'. Climbed on top. As a result, 'Get Up' entered this chart at number 1 (as of August 5) and is currently cruising.

Last week, NewJeans broke the record for being the longest-charting 4th generation K-pop girl group on the Billboard 200, and a week later, they continued their record-breaking streak, proving their deep-rooted popularity in the United States.

In addition, 'Get Up' ranked first in Billboard's 'World Album' a total of nine times, and ranked 10th in 'Top Album Sales' and 'Top Current Album Sales' respectively.

'Get Up''s title song 'Super Shy' is also a long-term hit. 'Super Shy', which stayed on Billboard's main song chart 'Hot 100' for 8 weeks, ranked 17th in 'Global (excluding the US)' and 30th in 'Global 200' this week, maintaining the top spot on both charts for 12 consecutive weeks. Another title song from the 2nd mini album, 'ETA', ranked 37th on the 'Global (excluding the US)' and 74th on the 'Global 200', ranking on both charts for 10 consecutive weeks.

The '2023 League of Legends (LoL) World Championship' theme song 'GODS' sung by Newjins will be released on major music sites at home and abroad at 2pm (Korean time) today (4th). The 'LoL World Championship', also known as 'Worlds Cup', is the most prestigious e-sports tournament, and NewJeans became the first K-pop group to sing the theme song of this tournament.
