‘All-rounder rookie’ Nmix successfully completes comeback showcase
JYP Entertainment's new girl group NMIXX released their new album 'expérgo' and title song 'Love Me Like This' at 6 PM on the 20th. To commemorate this, the comeback showcase 'Docking Station: expérgo' was held and met with domestic and foreign fans, simultaneously broadcast live on the official YouTube channel at 8 PM on the same day.
The six members, LILY, Haewon, Seolyun, BAE, Jiwoo, and Gyujin, have released the title song 'Love Me Like This', 'Young, Dumb, Stupid', and 'PAXXWORD'. A total of 6 songs included in the new album, including (Password), 'Just Did It', 'My Gosh', and 'HOME', were unveiled for the first time and presented a mini-concert-like performance. The group heated up fans' hearts by showing off not only explosive performances but also a variety of charms, including a sweet stage where you can see the beautiful voices and harmony of the six members.
Here, we had a fruitful time talking about episodes related to the album and releasing behind-the-scenes footage of the music video filming. The members communicated closely by directly asking the audience what their favorite song was, saying, “We were really curious about which song our fans liked best in this album.” They also said, “Hearing the shouts of NSWER (fandom name: Enser) made me feel better than when I was practicing.” “We all have more energy. I think the new lightstick ‘Mixstick’ is really pretty. We’ll be together for a long time to come,” he said, expressing his fresh love for his fans.
Regarding their comeback, NMIXX said, "As this is the first mini album since debut, all six members prepared it with great care. Thinking of the fans who have waited a long time for the first mini album, I filled it with things they will like, so I hope you can enjoy it with NMIXX. Also, 'This activity is really great. “I would like to confidently say to NSWER, ‘You can look forward to it.’ I will work hard, so please show your interest,” he said, asking for expectations.
NMIXX's first comeback in 2023, 'expérgo', swept the top spot on the album real-time chart of Hanteo Chart, an album statistics site, and the retail album real-time chart of Gaon Chart, as of 7 PM on the day of release. At 11 PM on the 20th, it topped the iTunes album charts in several overseas regions, including Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam, showing off its popularity both at home and abroad. As of the same time, the title song 'Love Me Like This' also ranked first on the domestic music site Vibe's rapid rise chart, giving a bright green light for a comeback.
