Blackpink Jisoo enters 2nd place on U.S. Billboard's 'Global 200'
Blackpink Jisoo also stood out on the US Billboard main chart, marking the splendid finale of the team's solo project.

Jisoo's solo album [ME] title song 'FLOWER' ranked second on both the US Billboard Global 200 and the latest Billboard Global Excl. US charts, which were released on the 10th (local time).

The U.S. Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global are ranked based on streaming and music sales (downloads) collected in over 200 regions around the world. It is a new standard created by the U.S. Billboard to reflect trends in the popular music market, making it one of the global main charts.

‘FLOWER’ recorded approximately 108.7 million streams and 21,000 sales (downloads) worldwide. Accordingly, Billboard explained, "This is the third highest first week streaming record since the launch of the global chart." 1st place is ‘LALISA’ (152.6 million won) by Blackpink Lisa, and 2nd place is ‘Drivers License’ (130.1 million won) by international pop star Olivia Rodrigo.

In addition, Billboard said, "Jisoo became the third member to enter the top 10 of the two charts following Rosé and Lisa," highlighting Blackpink's past good results through both team and solo projects.

Jisoo continues to set records on various global charts with her first solo album [ME], released on March 31st. She ranked 38th on the UK Official Singles Chart, one of the world's two largest charts along with the US Billboard, and 6th on the Daily Top Songs Global of Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, setting the highest record for a K-pop female solo artist.

We are also writing a new history in terms of album sales. [ME] achieved 'Million Seller' status by selling a total of 1,172,351 copies from March 31st to April 6th, breaking the Initial Chodong record for a K-pop female solo artist. As this figure does not include the volume of the LP version, the final sales volume is expected to increase further.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, of which Jisoo is a member, continues this excitement with ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’, the largest world tour for a K-pop girl group, mobilizing approximately 1.5 million people. After successfully completing 14 North American concerts in 7 cities and 10 European tours in 7 cities last year, they are moving to Asia to meet more fans. On April 15th and 22nd (local time), they will be the first K-pop artist to grace the stage as the headliner at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in the United States.
