Singer Jeong Dong-won reveals live reinterpretation of 'Women of the Kasbah'
Following the live performances of the two candidate songs, 'Heavenly Reunion' and 'Song of the Wind', the third candidate song released is 'Woman of the Casbah', a song by the late singer Yoon Hee-sang released in 2000. Jeong Dong-won reinterpreted 'Woman of the Casbah', which is full of the sensibility of the Trot genre, in his own tone.
The live video of the candidate songs in 'Songbook Vol. 1' is content that reveals songs that were unfortunately not included in the remake song selection process. 'Songs Collection Vol.1', which will be released on September 20th, is a mini album composed of remake songs, and will be filled with songs carefully selected by Jeong Dong-won after listening to and singing the songs requested by fans.
Previously, Jeong Dong-won released his pre-released new song 'Monologue' on the 1st and is actively engaged in activities. 'Monologue' is a song that stands out with Jeong Dong-won's unique sorrowful sensibility and lonely autumn atmosphere, and has produced numerous famous songs such as Jang Yun-jung's 'Oh My God', Lim Young-woong's 'Hymn of Life', and Song Ga-in's 'Mother Arirang', making it a 'hit song maker'. It is a song by composer Yoon Myeong-seon that attracted attention even before its release.
Meanwhile, Jeong Dong-won's remake mini album 'Prop Collection Vol.1' will be released on various music sites at 6 pm on the 20th.
