Blackpink Lisa entered the Guinness Book of World Records

Blackpink Lisa has proven her powerful global influence by adding a new Guinness record with her solo album 'LALISA'.

YG Entertainment announced on the 11th that Blackpink Lisa's solo album 'LALISA' was officially registered in the UK's Guinness World Records as 'the first K-pop artist's solo album to exceed 1 billion streams on Spotify.'

This achievement was achieved with just two songs, the title song ‘LALISA’ and the b-side song ‘MONEY’. After being released on September 10, 2022, thanks to the continued love of global music fans, it exceeded 1 billion streams in 595 days.

In addition, the new record of '1 billion streams on Spotify in the shortest period of time for a K-pop female soloist', achieved on October 26, 2022, was additionally recognized. With the record summing up the number of plays for DJ Snake's single 'SG', in which Lisa participated in the 'LALISA' album, Guinness emphasized, "There are only three Lisa songs that can be streamed on Spotify."

With this, Lisa has set a new Guinness record a total of seven times in her personal career. Previously, with the 'LALISA' music video, 'the most viewed YouTube video of a solo artist in 24 hours', 'the most viewed YouTube video of a K-pop solo artist in 24 hours', 'the first K-pop solo winner at the MTV Video Music Awards', ' He has been listed in the Guinness World Records in five categories, including 'First K-Pop Solo Award at MTV Europe Music Awards' and 'K-Pop Artist with Most Instagram Followers'. Lisa is the first and only K-pop solo singer to hold seven Guinness World Records in history.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, to which Lisa belongs, is conducting the largest world tour by a K-pop girl group, 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]', mobilizing approximately 1.5 million people. Following the Asian tour, which is currently underway, they are scheduled to perform at stadiums in Paris, France and four cities in North America. At the 'Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival', a British music festival held in July, he will be the first K-pop artist to appear on stage as a headliner.
