Espa, 'Spicy' echoed in Times Square, New York, USA
The group aespa made a surprise appearance on the Times Square billboard in New York, USA.

On the 31st of last month, the global K-pop fandom platform 'Whosfan' released a local video where aespa's record-breaking advertisement was being broadcast on YouTube's 'WhosfanTV' channel.

Espa achieved a 'new record in the female group category' in Initial Chodong sales with the 3rd mini album 'MY WORLD'. To congratulate aespa who wrote a new history in K-pop, Hanteo Chart and 'Whosfan' sent an advertisement that set a new record for a week from the 22nd to the 28th of last month, based on local time, at Times Square in New York.

Along with the music video for the title song 'Spicy' of 'MY WORLD', the Initial Chodong sales volume of 'MY WORLD' by Aespa and the advertisement containing the phrase 'New Record' attracted the attention of New Yorkers.

The advertising account featuring Espa drew attention as it was known as a large electronic display board measuring 47m in width, right next to 'tkts', known as the heart of Times Square in New York.

Meanwhile, aespa recorded Initial Chodong sales of 1,698,784 copies with 'MY WORLD', breaking the 'New Initial Chodong Sales Record' in the female group category.
