On the 7th, The New Six's third mini-album 'BOYHOOD' comeback showcase was held at Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Among the 6 members, Chun Jun-hyeok decided to focus on treatment due to health problems and will not be with him for this activity.
Seongjun Oh said, “I looked for a lot of reference videos to properly immerse myself in this concept. The senior I want to resemble the most was Deuce senior. I searched for 'in the summer'. It was trendy and sensational. I practiced a lot after watching Deuce sunbaenim.”
Eunhui said, “The CEO (Psy) puts his heart into every song. Check up to the last mastering sound source. For this album, I think the CEO brought the concept of the era that he knows better than we do. He told me in detail about the warm lyrics he was writing at the time. I became involved in production such as writing lyrics, and I am always learning a lot. It is an honor just for the representative and other famous producers to participate in me.” He continued, “Ever since I heard the title song, it was different. It seemed to be. It was difficult to continue working during the promotion, but I did it while enjoying it.”
'Boyhood' is an album that tells the story of six boys from different backgrounds and regions, living their own lives, gathering together for the same dream and goal, forming a team, relying on each other, and growing together.
