On the 9th, Onew said on his social media, "It's no different, and I think there are people who would be surprised, so I decided that it was right for me to post, so I wrote this."
Onew asked for the fans' understanding, "I will return after recovering well. I apologize for causing concern to many people, and I would appreciate it if you think of it as a time to take a breather for SHINee, who will be with us in the future."
He continued, “I thought a lot because the time was right, and I think there was a misunderstanding or error because the condition didn’t return.”
He also expressed his apologetic heart, saying, "I will think about spending good days together and spend each part of my life meaningfully and come back healthy. I'm sorry for worrying you."
Earlier, on the 9th, Onew's agency, SM Entertainment, announced through the fan community, "Onew was suffering from poor physical condition, so he underwent counseling and examinations. As a result, the medical staff said that he needed stability and treatment."
Onew will not be able to participate in SHINee's solo concert, which will be held on the 23rd and 25th, and the regular 8th album 'HARD', which will be released on the 26th.
