BTS Jungkook, who is creating a global craze with his first solo single, took the UK by storm with a successful debut stage on a TV talk show and a new Korean solo artist record on the 'Official Singles Chart'.

Jungkook appeared on BBC's popular talk show 'The One Show', which was broadcast live on the 22nd (local time). Jungkook, who had been interviewed on this program as BTS in 2021, appeared as a solo artist in about two years and performed his first solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" live.

Jungkook, who appeared amid cheers from the fans, commented on his feelings of returning to England after the Wembley concert in 2019, “I am really happy to be back (to England). I waited for the 'Seven' stage in front of the fans. Thank you for coming,” he said with excitement and gratitude. “(As a solo artist) Please look forward to the completely new appearance of Jungkook. Their appearance on BBC's 'The One Show' shone even brighter with the news of making a great record on the British charts. On the latest chart released by the UK Official Charts on the 21st (counting period July 14-20), 'Seven' entered the 'Official Singles Chart' and went straight to No. 3. This is the highest ranking record for a Korean solo artist's debut (entering the chart) in the history of the UK's 'Official Singles Chart'.

'Seven', which was the first song by a Korean solo artist to enter the global chart at Spotify, the world's largest music streaming company, maintained the top spot for 7 days in a row and became the 'Weekly Top Song Global' (counting period July 14-20). On the 20th), it went straight to No. 1 as soon as it entered.
