Yoon Jae-chan Makes Horror Film Debut with 'Sal Mok Ji'
On April 4, Yoon attended the production briefing for the film 'Sal Mok Ji' at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul. 'Sal Mok Ji' is a horror film that unfolds as a mysterious figure is captured on Sal Mok Ji's road view, leading a film crew to a reservoir where they encounter something dark and deep in the water.
In the film, Yoon plays 'Seong-bin,' who, along with Soo-in (played by Kim Hye-yoon), experiences a series of inexplicable events at the reservoir. Seong-bin is characterized as a cheerful and lively junior employee with a strong survival instinct, and Yoon is expected to enhance audience immersion with his vivid horror acting.
During the briefing, Yoon described Seong-bin as a character who serves Soo-in and strives to survive at all costs. He added, "The scene in the car towards the end is a highlight, and I hope you catch it in theaters," raising anticipation among prospective viewers.
He concluded by saying, "'Sal Mok Ji' is the scariest film I've ever seen. I hope the audience can feel the fear I experienced," urging viewers to watch the film. 'Sal Mok Ji,' featuring Yoon Jae-chan, is set to release on April 8.
Yoon has built his presence with roles in various dramas such as MBC's 'Judge Lee Han-young,' SBS's 'Try: We Become Miracles,' tvN's 'Love on a Tightrope,' MBC's 'Intimate Betrayal,' and Disney+'s 'Not Strong but Charming Detective Squad.' He is also set to appear in tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Siren' as Dr. Shin and has announced his participation in SBS's 'Sold Out Again Today,' continuing his active career.
