Actor Moon Sang-min Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Details of Kiss Scenes in Netflix's 'Pavane'
Recently, at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, Moon Sang-min, who stars in the Netflix film 'Pavane' directed by Lee Jong-pil, discussed his experiences.
'Pavane' is a film about three individuals who, while living with closed hearts, become lights for each other, confronting life and love. Moon Sang-min plays the role of Kyung-rok, a young man who has given up his dream of becoming a dancer and is living in reality.
On this day, Moon Sang-min revealed the behind-the-scenes story of his kiss scene with Byun Yo-han. The kiss scene with Byun Yo-han had previously been pre-released, garnering attention. Regarding this, Moon Sang-min laughed and said, "The kiss with Yo-han was not my idea."
He also mentioned the kiss scene with Go Ah-sung, who appears as his romantic partner in the film. Moon Sang-min explained, "The kiss with Mi-jung (played by Go Ah-sung) was clumsy, which was nice. It felt different from the scenes I've seen in existing dramas," and added, "I thought it was a kiss where Kyung-rok's feelings were too ahead."
He continued, "It wasn't just about waiting for the act of kissing, but it felt like he had been waiting for a long time for the moment to meet Mi-jung, to connect emotionally. That's why it seemed more clumsy. It was a scene that came from emotions."
