Actor Park Hae-jun recently shared his thoughts on his villainous image.

In a recent interview at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, Park Hae-jun discussed his role in the film 'Humint'.

Directed by Ryu Seung-wan, 'Humint' tells the story of individuals who clash in Vladivostok for different reasons.

Park Hae-jun plays Hwang Chi-sung, the North Korean Consul General in Vladivostok. Known for his intense villain role in the drama 'The World of the Married', which earned him the nickname 'National Trash', Park addressed questions about changing his image, saying, "I personally want to keep showing change. It's not planned; if it's a good project, I tend to jump in without overthinking."

Reflecting on his role as a loving father in last year's Netflix series 'My Liberation Notes', which moved the nation to tears, he added, "Some say I became a villain too quickly, but I have no such plans. I enjoy filming, and if there's a good script and a good working environment, I'm in."

Regarding his return to a villain role in this project, he laughed it off, saying, "With Director Ryu Seung-wan at the helm, being a villain is no big deal."

Given the numerous nicknames he earned during 'The World of the Married', he was asked if he expects new ones from this film. He joked, "I didn't create all those nicknames. I hope people come up with them on their own. Maybe after two weeks, something new will emerge."

The film 'Humint' was released on the 11th.
