Netflix Unveils Character Stills for 'Pavane' Featuring Go Ah-sung, Byun Yo-han, and Moon Sang-min

Netflix has released character stills for its upcoming film 'Pavane,' starring Go Ah-sung, Byun Yo-han, and Moon Sang-min.

'Pavane' tells the story of three individuals who, while initially closed off from the world, become a source of light for each other, confronting life and love. The newly released stills capture the unique charm and emotions of these three young characters.

The stills feature Mi-jung (Go Ah-sung), Yo-han (Byun Yo-han), and Kyung-rok (Moon Sang-min), each showcasing their distinct allure. Mi-jung, with her tousled hair and bare face, is seen carrying heavy loads, working quietly in a department store's basement to avoid uncomfortable stares. Nicknamed 'Dinosaur' by her colleagues due to her gloomy demeanor, she begins to change after meeting Kyung-rok, who approaches her without prejudice.

Yo-han, with his bleached yellow hair and love for rock music, is a free spirit working as a parking attendant. Despite his carefree attitude, rumors circulate that he is the department store owner's son. His bold approach to Kyung-rok, asking to be friends, contrasts with his solitary moments in a pub, hinting at a hidden side.

Lastly, Kyung-rok, who gave up his dream of becoming a dancer, works part-time as a parking attendant. He becomes intrigued by Mi-jung, who works alone in the basement. His indifferent demeanor begins to change, showing smiles after meeting Mi-jung. The film piques curiosity about how these three characters, each with their own stories, will evolve and grow together.

Go Ah-sung shared, "'Pavane' required me to expose my most vulnerable and flawed self. Facing my insecurities during filming felt liberating," revealing her intense preparation to portray Mi-jung, who lives like a shadow due to societal judgment.

Byun Yo-han described his character, "Yo-han is a complex character with emotions difficult to articulate. To visually express his inner turmoil and longing for freedom, I left the roots of my bleached hair black," highlighting his effort to bring an unpredictable character to life. Moon Sang-min added, "Kyung-rok is an ordinary person who gradually changes after meeting Mi-jung. There were moments when his lines felt like my own," hinting at a perfect character synchronization. The diverse characters in 'Pavane' promise to weave an intriguing narrative.

The Netflix film 'Pavane' will be available exclusively on Netflix starting February 20.
