Park Jung-min Shares Behind-the-Scenes Action Training with Director Ryoo Seung-wan for 'Human Intelligence'
On the 12th, a production briefing for the film 'Human Intelligence' (directed by Ryoo Seung-wan) was held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University Entrance in Jayang-dong, Seoul. Director Ryoo Seung-wan and actors Jo In-sung, Park Jung-min, Park Hae-joon, and Shin Se-kyung attended the event.
'Human Intelligence' is a story set in Vladivostok, where secrets and truths are submerged in the icy sea, and individuals with different objectives clash. This is the latest work from director Ryoo Seung-wan, known for the 'Veteran' series and 'Escape from Mogadishu.' The title 'Human Intelligence' refers to intelligence gathered through human sources.
Jo In-sung plays the role of Cho, an agent of the National Intelligence Service of South Korea. Park Jung-min portrays Park Geon, a team leader in North Korea's Ministry of State Security. Park Hae-joon takes on the role of Hwang Chi-seong, the North Korean Consul General in Vladivostok. Shin Se-kyung appears as Chae Sun-hwa, a North Korean restaurant worker who is approached by Cho to become an informant.
Park Jung-min shared insights into the action scenes. He said, "The director is a representative of Korean action films. To meet his expectations, I needed to practice more deeply. The director kept demonstrating hapkido moves on me on set, saying, 'This is how you do it,' twisting my hand and body. One day, he even came to my room to show me. I learned a lot, but from afar, it looked like an uncle teasing his nephew," he laughed. He added, "There are scenes where what I learned from the director was applied. I worked hard to learn. Park Geon's action scenes are precise hapkido moves, taught by the director."
'Human Intelligence' is set to be released on February 11th.
