Yeom Hye-ran expressed, "This project was precious to me. I witnessed the entire process from the first script, revised script, and completed script to the storyboard, filming, and final version. Being part of the process was invaluable. Knowing how it was edited made me appreciate it even more."

She continued, "I have always admired Director Park Chan-wook, but I was also apprehensive. I can't handle violent scenes, and his films are known for them. I had to mentally prepare myself for this project. I felt honored but also thought, 'I need to read the script.'"

Yeom Hye-ran added, "I have a severe fear of snakes. Even looking at pictures is difficult for me. To my surprise, the first scene involved a snake. I apologized and mentioned my fear, and the director, who also has a fear of snakes or bugs, assured me it would be done with CGI. That was a relief," she laughed.
