Han So-hee's Bold Transformation in 'Project Y' Sparks Anticipation

Actress Han So-hee is set to make a daring transformation in the upcoming film 'Project Y.' Previously, she had to cancel her world tour, which included performances in Frankfurt, Berlin, London, Paris, and New York, due to "unexpected circumstances." Additionally, her domestic fan meeting saw a low turnout, with only 700 out of 1600 seats sold, marking a 43% sales rate.

In 'Project Y,' Han So-hee plays Mi-seon, who, along with Do-kyung (played by Jeon Jong-seo), attempts to escape their harsh reality by stealing hidden black money and gold bars. The film is directed by Lee Hwan, known for his previous works 'Park Hwa-young' (2018) and 'Adults Don't Know' (2020).

Han So-hee's character, Mi-seon, leads a double life, tending to a flower shop by day and working in nightlife to make ends meet by night, showcasing her deepened acting skills.

'Project Y,' one of the most anticipated films of the year, recently had its world premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and is set to appear at the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

The film's screenings at the Busan International Film Festival sold out immediately upon ticket release, demonstrating the high interest in the project. Critics and audiences alike have predicted a 'career-high' for Han So-hee, signaling a promising box office performance.

Having showcased her versatile talents in various works such as 'The World of the Married,' 'My Name,' 'Nevertheless,' and 'Gyeongseong Creature,' Han So-hee is expected to dominate the screen with her ability to embody both strength and vulnerability.
