MAMAMOO's Solar Makes Her Big Screen Debut in 'Ghost Market'

MAMAMOO member Solar is set to make her big screen debut.

Solar will appear in the film 'Ghost Market,' which is set to release nationwide on the 17th. The movie is centered around a ghost trading market that opens when a fox window is unlocked, depicting a chilling tale of individuals who make deals with ghosts to get what they desire.

In the film, Solar plays 'Mi-yeon,' an aspiring writer who visits a rural village. Her character becomes entangled in mysterious events involving an ancient tree revered as the village's guardian.

As this marks Solar's first foray into film, there is significant interest in her performance. Previously, she has been recognized for her acting and stage presence in musicals such as 'Mata Hari' and 'Notre-Dame de Paris,' and she is expected to bring a unique charm to the movie.

Solar continues to establish herself as a versatile artist, seamlessly transitioning between music and acting. She is also set to hold her solo concert, 'Solar 3rd CONCERT Solaris,' on October 11-12 at the Baekyang Concert Hall at Yonsei University in Seoul, where she will connect with her fans.
