The 30th Busan International Film Festival has announced actress Claudia Kim as the host for its closing ceremony. This comes as another joyous occasion for Kim, who recently won the Best Supporting Actress award in the film category at the Baeksang Arts Awards in May.

The closing ceremony will feature the inaugural 'Busan Awards' for the newly established competition section, marking a significant step in the festival's evolution as a competitive film festival on the global stage. This year, the festival has chosen actor Lee Byung-hun as the host for the opening ceremony and Claudia Kim for the closing ceremony, showcasing two prominent actors who represent both domestic and international cinema.

Claudia Kim, known for her commanding presence and deep acting skills that captivate audiences worldwide, will bring the ten-day festival to a close as the sole host of the closing ceremony. With her unique acting career spanning both domestic and international projects and her exceptional language skills, she is expected to serve as a bridge connecting films and audiences on stage.
