Star-Studded Production Team Joins Anticipated Film 'Zombie Daughter'




'Zombie Daughter' is a comedic drama about a doting father who embarks on a secret training mission to protect his daughter, the last remaining zombie on Earth. The film stars a stellar cast including Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jung-eun, Jo Yeo-jeong, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Choi Yoo-ri, and now boasts an equally impressive production team.
Choreographer Jeon Young, known for his work on 'Train to Busan', 'Peninsula', the 'Kingdom' series, 'Newtopia', and the variety show 'Zombie Bus', has enhanced the film's realism and tension with zombie movements that reflect each character's emotions and professional traits. He also choreographed dance scenes to K-pop hits like 'No.1' and 'I Am the Best', adding energy and excitement to the film.
Art director Chae Kyung-sun, who has worked on 'Miss Granny', 'The Fortress', 'Rampant', 'Exit', 'Hostage', and the 'Squid Game' series, created a warm and nostalgic mise-en-scène for the set of 'Bamsun's house', infusing the film with a sense of warmth.
Makeup director Jo Tae-hee, known for his detailed work on 'Masquerade', 'Hansan: Rising Dragon', 'The Night Owl', 'Hero', 'Noryang: The Sea of Death', and 'All of Us Are Dead', brought the characters to life with his meticulous touch. Editor Nam Na-young, who has worked on 'Masquerade', 'A Werewolf Boy', 'Miss Granny', 'Extreme Job', 'Confidential Assignment 2: International', and the 'Squid Game' series, amplified the film's immersion with her skillful editing. Music director Kim Tae-sung, known for his work on 'The Admiral: Roaring Currents', 'The Priests', '1987: When the Day Comes', 'Extreme Job', 'The Outlaws 2', 'Hansan: Rising Dragon', and 'The Grave', enhanced the film's narrative and emotional depth with his evocative music.
'Zombie Daughter' is set to premiere in theaters nationwide on the 30th.
