Cynthia Embarks on Hollywood Journey with 'The Hole'

According to TenAsia's report on the 24th, Cynthia has joined the cast of director Kim Jee-woon's new film, 'The Hole'. She recently completed her first shoot for the movie.
'The Hole' tells the story of a 40-something university professor who uncovers shocking truths after losing his wife in a sudden accident. The film is based on the novel 'The Hole' by Pyun Hye-young, which won the Shirley Jackson Award for Best Novel in the United States.
In addition to Cynthia, the film stars Jung Ho-yeon, who was nominated for an Emmy for her role in Netflix's 'Squid Game'. Hollywood actor Theo James, known for 'The White Lotus' and 'Gentleman: The Series', also joins the cast.
Renowned supporting actress Yum Hye-ran is also part of the lineup. Yum previously made a cameo appearance in director Kim Jee-woon's film 'Cobweb'.
Cynthia, who gained recognition through the film 'The Witch: Part 2', is currently appearing on the tvN variety show 'Edward Lee's Country Cook'. Despite it being her first variety show, she has impressed viewers with her fluent English, expressive reactions, and love for food.
Additionally, she is set to appear in the upcoming tvN series 'Someday Wise Resident Life' (working title 'Wise Resident Life') in April. The series is a spin-off of 'Hospital Playlist', focusing on the real-life hospital experiences of obstetrics and gynecology residents at Yulje Hospital in Jongno, after moving from the main Yulje Hospital.
