Urban Horror Film 'Wonjeong Villa' Starring Lee Hyun-woo and Moon Jung-hee Set for December 4 Release
'Wonjeong Villa' tells the story of a young man trying to protect his family from unsettling neighbors after illegal flyers are distributed in an old suburban villa. This film follows in the footsteps of other urban legends like 'Gonjiam,' 'Oksoo Station Ghost,' and 'Neulbom Garden.'
The main trailer intensifies the suspense with Joo-hyun's (Lee Hyun-woo) heavy breathing, cries for help, and Shin-hye (Moon Jung-hee) standing amidst flames. The warning 'Never trust your neighbors' over the chaotic scene raises questions about the events that transpired. The line 'Since she arrived, this place has turned into hell' is followed by Joo-hyun's bewildered expression, Shin-hye's friendly smile, and the suspicious glances of the villa's residents, hinting at the growing tension among neighbors. The trailer concludes with Yoo-jin (Bang Min-ah) staring into a dark basement and a voice mentioning the constant noise at night, suggesting something sinister within the villa. Shin-hye's cryptic smile and Joo-hyun's ominous appearance in a black hat further amplify the mystery and fear surrounding the villa's true nature.
'Wonjeong Villa' will be released on December 4.
