Veteran 2 Officially Invited to Fantastic Fest and Sitges Film Festival
The movie 'Veteran 2' has been officially invited to the 19th Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, and the 57th Sitges Film Festival in Spain, following its invitations to the Cannes Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival.

Fantastic Fest is the largest genre film festival in the United States, specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action, and other fantastic films from around the world. Film critic and journalist Pierce Conran introduced 'Veteran 2' on the official Fantastic Fest website, stating, "Director Ryoo Seung-wan returns with 'Veteran 2,' featuring spectacular scenes characterized by realistic and factual action, and a direct confrontation between good and evil. Through intense action scenes, viewers will witness a side of Seoul never seen before. 'Veteran 2' will showcase the essence of Korean action cinema."

The Sitges Film Festival, Spain's largest film festival, will be held from October 3 to 13. 'Veteran 2' will be screened in the competitive 'Orbita' section. The film will be shown twice on October 3 at 2:15 PM and 8:45 PM local time. This invitation is particularly meaningful as it marks the second consecutive year that Director Ryoo Seung-wan has been invited, following his previous work 'Smugglers.' With its invitations to prestigious film festivals worldwide, 'Veteran 2' continues to make headlines, following its Midnight Screening at Cannes and Special Presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival.

'Veteran 2' is an action crime investigation drama where veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min) and rookie detective Park Sun-woo (Jung Hae-in) join forces to track down a notorious serial killer. The highly anticipated film is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
