Renowned Korean actor Hwang Jung-min and rising star Jung Hae-in finally share the screen, delivering intense performances. In the 2023 hit 'Spring of Seoul,' they played Jeon Doo-kwang and Major Oh Jin-ho, respectively, but did not appear together in a scene. In 'Veteran 2,' they meet as senior and junior detectives, promising a new synergy.

Seo Do-cheol and Park Sun-woo meet by chance while working on the same case. Seo Do-cheol notices Park Sun-woo's quick action in subduing a troublemaker, leading to Park Sun-woo's addition to the team as the youngest detective. The trailer features Park Sun-woo's line, "I became a cop after seeing you catch Jo Tae-oh," showcasing his respect for his senior and his passion as a rookie, hinting at a soulmate-like chemistry in solving cases.

Hwang Jung-min expressed satisfaction with Jung Hae-in joining the 'Veteran' series, saying, "Jung Hae-in brought new energy. Some scenes with Seo Do-cheol and Park Sun-woo turned out to be very entertaining." Jung Hae-in also shared, "I relied a lot on Hwang Jung-min during filming. His meticulousness and attention to detail during rehearsals were invaluable learning experiences," indicating that their chemistry extended beyond the camera, creating a warm atmosphere on set.

'Veteran 2' will be released in theaters nationwide on September 13.
