Kwak Si-yang, who is publicly dating Lim Hyun-joo, has shared his thoughts on marriage.

On the 16th, Kwak Si-yang, who stars in the upcoming film 'Desperate Chase,' was interviewed at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul.

'Desperate Chase' is a film that revolves around a con artist, an anger management-challenged detective, and a crime boss who all converge in Jeju for different reasons, leading to a thrilling chase. Kwak Si-yang plays Jo Soo-kwang, a detective with anger management issues. Despite his 100% arrest rate, Jo's inability to control his anger leads to incidents where he breaks the limbs of criminals, resulting in his transfer to the Jeju Police Department.

Born in 1987, Kwak Si-yang is in a public relationship with Lim Hyun-joo, who appeared on Channel A's 'Heart Signal 2.' The couple confirmed their relationship in September last year, having grown close after meeting in private settings. Lim Hyun-joo is currently active as an actress.

Lim Hyun-joo has been supportive of Kwak Si-yang, even attending his movie premieres. Kwak shared, "I tend to focus on my scenes, but she found the overall movie enjoyable. When I expressed dissatisfaction with my performance, she encouraged me not to be too hard on myself."

In his late 30s, Kwak Si-yang spoke about his views on marriage: "I've always wanted to get married since I was young. I want to build a happy family and live a fun life with a life partner who can respond to 'Hey' with 'Why.' It would be fun to rely on each other." However, he added, "Talking about marriage is a bit cautious given our public relationship."

When asked if they discuss acting given that both are actors, Kwak said, "Not really. I prefer to act spontaneously, while she prepares meticulously from start to finish. It would be great if we could blend the raw and the prepared."

'Desperate Chase' is set to be released on the 21st.
