Actor Lee Joo-myung received a passing grade at his screen debut.

Lee Joo-myung played the role of Yoon Seul-gi, a pilot at Han Air in the movie 'Pilot', and left a strong impression with her cool and confident charm, opening the 'gateway to fandom' for the audience.

The movie 'Pilot' (directed by Kim Han-gyeol) has been on a hot box office streak since its release on the 31st of last month, maintaining its top spot and recording a cumulative audience of 3.02 million.

Yoon Seul-gi, played by Lee Joo-myung, quickly captured the attention of the audience as a character who goes from being Han Jeong-mi's (played by Jo Jung-seok) fellow pilot to a strong older sister and younger sister who they can trust and rely on each other.

At a company dinner, when her boss forces her to drink, she says, "Only those who want to drink can drink," and takes Jung-mi's glass away and drinks it instead. She also takes care of Jung-mi by saying, "From now on, just call me unnie. I'll be comfortable talking to you too," and Seol-gi's deep and loyal 'girl crush' charm is enough to make the audience 'fall in love.'

Lee Joo-myung not only perfectly portrayed Seol-gi's soft and fluffy charm, but also maximized the character's three-dimensional aspects with deep and delicate emotional acting, thereby greatly increasing the immersion of the play.

Seol-gi, who acknowledges Jeong-mi as an excellent pilot and has been supporting her as a colleague, is the only character in the comedy genre who can completely remove humor, and as a key figure who delivers a meaningful message while maintaining the center and balance of the film, Seol-gi succeeds in leaving a strong impression with his solid acting skills and irreplaceable charm.

Director Kim Han-gyeol, who directed 'Pilot', recently praised Lee Joo-myung in an interview, saying, "I got the feeling that Lee Joo-myung acts like an animal. He prepares diligently and sincerely, and he constantly asks questions and thinks. He's like a sponge." He also singled out Lee Joo-myung's performance as one of the main characters who led the film's success.

Previously, Lee Joo-myung proved his ability to digest a wide range of characters through dramas such as 'Twenty-Five, Twenty-One', 'Kairos', 'Missing: The Other Side', and 'My Fellow Citizens!', and in the drama 'Flowers Bloom in the Sand', he played the main characters Oh Yu-kyung and Oh Du-sik, freely moving between an undercover cop and an alley boss, and perfectly portrayed a youth growth romance. Actor Lee Joo-myung, who has expanded his field of activity from dramas to movies and is filling his filmography with his own unique style, is drawing attention.
