'Pilot' starring Jo Jung-seok exceeds 2 million on the 7th day of release

The comedy film 'Pilot' surpassed 2 million viewers on the 7th day of its release.

According to the integrated movie theater ticket network, the number of viewers exceeded 2 million on the 6th. ‘Pilot’ surpassed 1 million on the 4th day of release, followed by 2 million on the 7th day. This is the fastest speed among Korean films released this summer, and is the same box office speed as 'Smugglers', the highest-grossing film of the summer of 2023, which attracted 5.14 million viewers.

The certification video released along with the news of exceeding 2 million viewers features Jo Jung-seok, Lee Joo-myeong, Han Sun-hwa, Shin Seung-ho, and director Kim Han-gyeol of 'Pilot'. As Jo Jung-seok, who played the role of star pilot Han Jeong-woo, brings the suitcase, Lee Joo-myeong, Han Seon-hwa, Shin Seung-ho and director Kim Han-gyeol appear one after another, completing the number of 2 million and thanking the audience together. The actors, who are well-received for their acting that cheerfully brings out the relationships between characters in the movie, will also participate in the second week's stage greetings.

'Pilot' is a comedy about Han Jeong-woo (Jo Jeong-seok), who went from being a star pilot to becoming unemployed overnight, and succeeds in finding a new job after an extraordinary transformation. It is showing in theaters.
