The movie ‘Revolver’ has completed pre-sales in 172 countries.

'Revolver' is a film about Soo-young (Jeon Do-yeon), a former police officer who went to prison for all her crimes and heads straight toward one goal after being released. 'Revolver' was sold to 172 countries, including major Asian countries such as Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, and Mongolia, as well as North America, South America, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, and the Middle East.

Purple Plan, an overseas distributor in charge of distributing 'Revolver' in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, said, "It is a film that is very anticipated to see what ensemble the characters caught up in the chaos will form," and paid attention to the tension and conflict between the characters that 'Revolver' will convey.

German distributor Plaion Pictures, which distributed 'Parasite' and 'Decision to Break Up', also said, "'Revolver', a collaboration between Jeon Do-yeon and master director Seung-wook Oh, is an unstoppable female crime film that is reminiscent of many 90s Hong Kong action thrillers as well as director Park Chan-wook's Revenge. “It’s a movie reminiscent of a trilogy,” he said.

'Revolver' is a work in which director Oh Seung-wook, who proved his detailed script and dense directing skills with 'The Shameless', and Sanai Pictures, a renowned genre film company, participated. Jeon Do-yeon, Ji Chang-wook, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Jun-han, Kim Jong-soo, and Jeong Man-sik appear.

‘Revolver’ will be released in theaters on August 7th.
