Jo Jung-seok missed Lee Sun-gyun, who passed away

On the 22nd, a production briefing session for the movie ‘Land of Happiness’ was held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Director Choo Chang-min and actors Jo Jung-seok, Yoo Jae-myung, Jeon Bae-soo, Song Young-gyu, and Choi Won-young attended.
'Land of Happiness' tells the story of Park Tae-joo (played by Lee Sun-kyun), who was implicated in the presidential assassination case on October 26, 1979 by order of his superiors, and Jeong In-hoo (played by Jo Jeong-seok), a lawyer who entered Korea's worst political trial as his defense attorney. Green movie.
Jo Jung-seok takes on the role of Jeong In-hoo, a lawyer who jumps into the trial and does his best to save Park Tae-joo, regardless of means or methods.
A work inspired by real events. Jo Jung-seok said, "The text itself was a powerful script. I approached it by saying, 'Let's express Jung In-hoo's lines well.'"
Jo Jung-seok recalled Lee Sun-kyun, "He was a very affectionate person. There wasn't a single moment when he wasn't happy while filming. I guess I'm also very playful. I joked around with him and accepted everything. He was a good older brother." At the same time, he remembered, "He was more persistent than anyone else on set. That's why he was hot when he was acting. The moment he finished acting was warm. I still miss him even now."
‘Land of Happiness’ will be released on August 14th.
