The animation movie 'Inside Out 2' exceeded 2 million viewers within 5 days of its release.

According to the integrated movie theater ticket network, on the 16th, 'Inside Out 2' maintained the top spot at the box office for 5 consecutive days. 731,311 people were mobilized in one day. The cumulative audience number was 2,082,740.

'Inside Out 2' exceeded 2 million viewers, 11 days faster than 'Wonka' (16th), which was the only foreign film released this year to exceed 2 million viewers. The prequel ‘Inside Out’ (2015) took 11 days, and ‘Toy Story 4’ (2019) took 11 days. This is the fastest Pixar animation in history.

'Inside Out 2' is an animation film about the crisis and adventure that begins again when 13-year-old Riley's peaceful daily life is shattered as new unfamiliar emotions such as anxiety, embarrassment, boredom, and envy appear in the emotional control center in Riley's head. The previous film, ‘Inside Out’ (2015), attracted 4.97 million viewers.

Second place was ‘Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga.’ The number of daily viewers is 20,918, and the cumulative number of viewers is 1,529,592.

'Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga' is an action blockbuster depicting the epic journey of Furiosa, who was cruelly thrown into a devastated world 45 years after the collapse of civilization, risking her entire life to return to her hometown.

‘Wonderland’ took third place. During the day, 17,604 people were added, bringing the total to 587,951 people.

'Wonderland' is a movie about reuniting with a loved one through Wonderland, a video call service that restores dead people with artificial intelligence (AI). Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo-gum, Jung Yu-mi, and Choi Woo-shik starred.

4th place was ‘Following’ and 5th place was ‘Zone of Interest’.

As of 8 a.m. on the 17th, 'Inside Out 2' ranked first with 38.5% of real-time reservation rates. The second place in advance reservation rate is ‘Hijacking’ (17.2%), and the third place is ‘Escape’ (9.9%).
