'Wonderland' starring Suzy and Park Bo-gum took first place at the box office on the first day of its release

The movie 'Wonderland' ranked first at the box office on the first day of its release.

According to the integrated movie theater ticket network, 'Wonderland' attracted 82,875 audiences on the 5th, its opening day. A total of 94,777 viewers were gathered through previews prior to release.

'Wonderland' is a movie about reuniting with a loved one through Wonderland, a video call service that restores dead people with artificial intelligence (AI). Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo-gum, Jung Yu-mi, and Choi Woo-shik starred.

'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga' fell one place from the previous day to take second place. The daily audience reached 36,486 and the cumulative audience reached 1,142,266.

'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga' is an action blockbuster depicting the huge journey of 'Furiosa', who was cruelly thrown into a devastated world 45 years after the collapse of civilization, risking her entire life to return to her hometown.

'Following' maintained 3rd place. During the day, 16,365 people were added, bringing the total to 1,001,841.

'Following' is a mystery that unfolds when Goo Jeong-tae (played by Byun Yo-han), a real estate agent with a hobby of spying, witnesses the death of Han So-ra (played by Shin Hye-sun), an influencer he was observing, and searches around Han So-ra to clear the name of the murderer. It's a chase thriller.

4th place was ‘The Plot’ and 5th place was ‘THE ROUNDUP: PUNISHMENT’.

As of 9:30 a.m. on the 6th, 'Wonderland' ranked first with 23.5% of real-time reservation rates. Second place in advance reservation rate is 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga' (13.5%), and third place is 'Inside Out 2' (8.5%), which is scheduled to be released on the 12th.
